Content Management System (CMS)

The content management system is an application that allows clients to control the content that is on their website by themselves. Without content management, they may need to continually go back to a developer or designer for every content change they want to make, resulting in costly maintenance charges. The advantage to using our own system is that it is fully customizable to our client's needs.

Our CMS system is designed to allow an unlimited number of user managed content pages as well as giving control of the navigation structure to the site administrator.

What it is:

Database driven web pages that are "fitted" to a template page that has a specific area for "content" to be placed. This template is designed to grow in height automatically as needed to show all of the content for that particular page.

Allows the administrator to upload single photos and documents

Provides the administrator with an easy to use WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor to format the internal content; add tables, images, links, etc.

Allows the administrator to manage the main navigation of the website and add new "sections" and "pages". The public site navigation will adapt itself as needed to display the menu.

What it is NOT:

A CMS system is not intended to allow the client to change every aspect of the site.

It is not intended to be used to change the graphical design or style of the entire site.
